The esthetic expectations of our patients are very hight. To accomplish this hight standards in the esthetic zone we need to enhance soft tissue stability in this area.

The thickens of the gingiva in this region is important for long term results. In order to get this stable gingiva we can use CONCAVE abutments which will allow the soft tissue

to grow into the created space at the implant collar .This concave concept must be implemented from day one after implant uncovering or by open healing cases.

The presentation will show the concept of concave abutments and the clinical implementation based on evidence based literature.
